I'm Meryl Hill, and I built UPco because I've seen what happens when event companies grow faster than their infrastructure. The team starts fraying. The founder starts drowning. The brand starts drifting.

 

I spent two decades inside the event industry watching great companies hit a ceiling — not because they lacked talent or ambition, but because nobody had ever built the business underneath the business.

 

That's the work I do. I come in as a strategic partner, not another consultant with a generic framework. I bring deep industry context, operational expertise, and a bias toward outcomes over process.
